when i was little i obsessively made domes and forts like this. i spent hours making it as durable as i could before my sister or parents came back home to yell about the mess.i loathed reality and i actually preferred to sleep in a pillow stuffed corner or dome over my bed any day.till this day, i still feel the same and jokingly tell my friends to help me build a fort. i’d actually want to share the experience with someone one day.

A shabby chic fort designed to evoke paniers. I love it, a bed hidden under a woman’s skirts. It’s a smart photo.
